The 'Anti-Discrimination’ training prepared under 'Organizational Capacity Building Trainings' of the Human Rights Platform project, which is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Human Rights Platform Association, took place on 29 November. 

Organizational Capacity Building trainings aims to strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations in the northern part of Cyprus on different issues and consists of five different trainings within the scope of the Human Rights Project and will continue intermittently until July 2023. The first training started with the gathering of various civil society organizations at KTÖS under the title of 'Anti- Discrimination’. 

Anti-Discrimination training met with its participants for one full day with the contributions of trainers Burcu Yeşiladalı and Corina Demetriou. The first part of the training session was led by Burcu Yeşiladalı where participants learned about the definitions of discrimination, methods of combating discrimination, and monitoring & reporting discrimination. In the last session of the training, Corina Demetriou talked about the non-discrimination law in the Republic of Cyprus and the experiences of the development and implementation of this law.
